What Makes a Company a Great Place to Work?

Last week, we had the opportunity to attend the Portland Business Journal’s 2026 Best Places to Work Awards at the brand-new Hillsboro Hops ballpark.

What a great way to celebrate the organizations creating exceptional workplaces in our community.

We had plenty of opportunities to connect with great people, but what we appreciated most was what the night represented.

Great companies don’t become great places to work by accident...

It takes intentional leadership. It takes listening to your people. It takes building a culture where people feel valued, challenged, supported, and connected to something bigger than themselves.
